Again, this guitar is a wonderful-playing and sounding guitar. It needs nothing to be enjoyed right now. There is one repaired crack on the top above the bass side f-hole and a back seam hairline that was repaired. Patent Pending Frequensator tailpiece is present with restored hinge.
The binding was deteriorating but was stabilized many years ago. The guitar has a replaced Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with custom fretboard inlays, also the neck has been oversprayed, some overspray on the back of the body, changed Grover tuners, changed bridge and a nice old Johnny Smith type pickup installed with volume knob. The guitar is certainly not collector-grade as there are many modifications but it's structurally very solid.
This guitar has to be one of the easiest-playing archtops you'll ever find. This guitar is a wonderful-playing 1930's Epiphone De Luxe with the more advanced body shape.
